Climb The Teletubbies Hill In Bali – Nusa Penida

Bali is identical to the overlay shores, beaches, white sands and sun, but there’s something different when you’re visiting the island of Nusa Penida. The southeast part of Bali island turn into a nice place to visit and you can find a similar green hills like in a movie called Teletubbies Hill. You may have watched the television show called Teletubbies where the four strangely shaped and coloured characters live in.

If you want to cross to the other island from Bali, you can choose ferry from the port of Padang Bai and also spend time traveling for an hour with this ferry, In addition to the ticket price is cheap, you also can bring your motorcycle with you to surround the 3 islands in the southeast Bali. There are  Nusa Lembongan Island, Nusa Ceningan and the most of it is Nusa Penida.

Nusa Penida typical land is barren plants that can be found in almost all parts of the island are cashew and Duwet. In some places we also see monkeys, but they’re still afraid to meet people. From there, you feel as though you have become one with the mountains surrounding you, merging into one of the small, rounded and neatly arranged hills.

This location is also particularly peaceful, as it is located far from any busy centres or villages. Teletubbies Hill is nearby Tanglad, the weaving village, on the eastern side of Nusa Penida. You’ll need about one hour travelling time by motorcycle or walk. Many beaches are nice and quiet. Wandering in the hills is also not less interesting. Moreover, from the teletubbies hill you can enjoy the nice scenery towards the island of Lombok.

Teletubbies hill has just introduced by teenagers or young people there through social media around 2013 ago and they photograph the beauty of this hill and then uploaded to the social media, so that more people are getting to know this new tourist attraction.
